Xavier Remond is an accomplished investment banking and private equity professional with over 17 years of experience, primarily in the UAE. He previously served as Head of Private Equity at MFI Investments in Dubai, where he led the deployment of more than USD 150 million across a variety of Mid-Cap investments, including regional buyouts, international minority stakes, and real estate investments, most notably the acquisition, development and sale of Salma Children Rehabilitation Hospital in Abu Dhabi (acquired in 2022 by ADQ/SEHA).

Earlier in his career, Xavier was Head of Transaction Execution at Millennium Finance Corporation, where he advised on significant cross-continental transactions, including acquisitions in the telecommunications industry across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia for Zain and Batelco, and the Investment Corporation of Dubai. His career also includes roles at Centuria Capital in Paris, focusing on large real estate private equity transactions in Europe, Rothschild & Cie, where he participated in various corporate finance assignments, including M&A, IPOs, and restructuring projects for large European corporations as well as Venture Capital firm Banexi Venture Partners where he analyzed high-tech investment opportunities and conducted due diligence on telecom, IT, and life sciences startups.

Xavier holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from INSA Lyon and a Postgraduate Degree in Finance & Strategy from ESSEC Business School.
