Richard Chalhoub is a seasoned entrepreneur and investment professional with over 20 years of experience in executing cross-sector transactions across Europe and the Middle East.

From 2013 to 2022, Richard served as Head of Investment and Asset Management at MFI Investments in Dubai, where he structured and oversaw the investment and asset management department. One of the most notable private equity transactions he originated was the acquisition of Salma Children Rehabilitation Hospital, an 83-bed specialized long-term care hospital in Abu Dhabi which was sold to 2022 to ADQ/SEHA.

Prior to this, Richard was a Managing Director at Consensus Business Group in London, where he sourced and executed proprietary deals across the Middle East (c. US$ 250m), including the establishment of Masdar, the first clean-tech fund in the region, in collaboration with the Government of Abu Dhabi and Credit Suisse.

Richard also acted as an advisor to several Europe based investment banks as his access to business leaders as well as his solid understanding of the region proved vital in originating and executing large cross-border transactions. Throughout his career, Richard has built deep relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals across the Middle-East and Europe.

His entrepreneurial journey has also seen him lead several business ventures, two of which he exited to financial buyers, further solidifying his expertise in business development and market expansion.

Richard is a French national and is fluent in French, Arabic and English.
